Spend the morning with Vivace at the market! Our singers will be performing in the middle of the open-air market while the band takes a break, singing You Are My Sunshine, Awake, Awake Ye Sleepers and Morning Round by Abbie Betinis, and Dona Nobis Pacem.
Winter Concert

Join Vivace for an afternoon of light in the darkest season. Our singers take you from the first snowfall to the glow of Diwali lamps to the ringing bells of Christmas, closing with Dona Nobis Pacem, an ancient round asking simply for peace. It's a program about the many ways the world reaches for warmth in winter, and the joy of singing it together.

Concert with Duke University Chorale

Vivace Children's Chorus welcomes the Duke University Chorale to Maryland! Founded in 1970, the Chorale is Duke's flagship choral ensemble, and they are stopping here on their annual spring tour. Join us for this special concert featuring several young generations of singers from age 5 through graduate school.

Now We Begin

The evening opens with Who Will Buy? from Oliver! and Bob Chilcott's I Share Creation, celebrating the world we hold in common. Then, the Arlington Chorale’s commission: Dominick DiOrio's Our Future Four Seasons springs from the words of Vivace singers imagining what the seasons might yet become. Before we perform it at Carnegie Hall in May, it has its hometown moment here. The Arlington Chorale is joined by Vivace Children's Chorus and the George Washington University Singers, three generations of voices on one stage, for an evening that ends our anniversary year the way all good stories end: with a new one starting. Now, we begin.
